This is how this outfit would look if it were steampunk.
This free dress from Junbug would be cute with some torn accessories for a she-urt, or a happy and cute but dirty peasant. However, when I saw it, my first thought was cute steampunk. Moar oil stains and metal! Unfortunately, when I dug through my inventory for bronze gears accessories and things, there was literally nothing. I fail, I'm sorry!

I'm strongly opposed to making myself a men's set of skin and shapes and whatnots, so you'll just have to deal with me cross-dressing! But isn't that outfit stunning? There's also a girl's freebie sold by ARIMAN, which looks similar but is less bulky and blue. Grab that here. In fact, ARIMAN has a lot of nice silks, all nicely priced. I hope they get an inworld store open soon! Digging through the marketplace has been fun, but it doesn't compare to in world exploring.

I found this awesome kilt on the marketplace, and it led me to a pretty cool store on the grid that has a lucky chair and a couple MMs to hit up.
The bow is AWESOME and FREE! I didn't know where I'd gotten it, and spent almost an hour going in circles on the grid until it occurred to me to check the marketplace. I'm glad I did - because Sandy Sage has a couple other free RP weapons!

Sorry, a lot of that other stuff isn't free anymore. :(!
However! May's Soul, Phoenix & Firefall, Caverna Obscura, and MADesigns all have lots of gifts still available like those ones. These dirty, dirty silks are actually very awesomely made, and well worth the whole one linden. AND they're not the set you can steal! There's also a gorgeous blue and vivid green silk set for 1L each! For some reason I like the dirty ones the most though. I hope that's not indicative of anything.

I've been eyeing the Margaret gowns among others at Knickknack, so when I saw this one was on sale I jumped on it. The textures are absolutely stunning.

Also, that hair is a beautiful free gift from Analog Dog... and comes with a variety of hairbases to go with! Right next to this gift is also a fatpack of hairbases in a variety of colors... and they're MOD!!!!1 Meaning, they can be tinted to match almost any hair color you've got. A lot of my hair looks pretty bad without a hairbase, and I haven't been able to find a good fatpack of moddable hairbases yet, so this is by far my favorite christmas gift from SL! The outfits free at Everwind are done by (I think) Fantasia of Fantasia & Elements, who are absolutely amazing. (Are they one store? Two stores? Peanut butter and jelly? If I'm being honest... no idea) I could've guessed it was them when I first put it on and saw the beautiful, unique design and delicious textures. I stared at that dress for ten minutes before thinking I should maybe take a picture, heh. It's now moved to a permanent spot in my inventory, in my RP dresses folder! Yaaay!

I definitely approve; we need more fantasy and roleplay gear for the male population! I'm a bit late (just a bit!) on my first post for The White Armory, a magnificent brand that sells a plethora of medieval and formal gowns on one end, and loads of equally amazing weapons on the other.
Every week, on Sunday, The White Armory has been making one of it's gowns FREE to their loyal and loving group members! And the last couple of weeks, Bee & Colton have been adding a special 50L gown for group members as well. And the group is FREE to join!

**Angelwing** is a wonderful store, with great goods and great generosity. Today begins the 12 days of Angelwing Christmas, and an advent calender is up! Yaaaaay! Each gift will be available for one day only, and for a steal of a deal at 20L. Today's gift is a sexy little santa outfit, but I don't doubt some of these items are going to be in the fairy and silk fashions this store is becoming famous for, so I'm going to be checking back daily. The Calender is in the winter section by the Santa.

Speaking of Santa! It's older news, but this delicious store set out a bit ago a dirty little Santa that you can sit on for something either naughty or nice. The gifts for Nice boys and girls are a couple of her NEW outfits, and some of Angelwing's older ones as well. Happily for me, it seems a good deal of the prizes are silks, with some fairyesque things thrown in! Naughty boys and girls will win things like newb chew toys and psychiatric offices. You can sit on Santa once every three minutes though for a new chance to win!

Freebies abound at FALLEN GODS INC!

FALLEN GODS INC is an incredibly amazing store, with unique and ingenious avatar designs and detail built into every beautiful pixel. They didn't need to prove to me they were awesome, but they did anyway with a load of christmas goodies.

First off, we got new skin sets on the Lucky Fortune Teller! The Crystal set is now up for you to win, if you can find someone that you get a maaagical cosmic connection of 100% with. This board says these skins will be up until 6/1/11, so you got time. Thankgoodness, because I sure am not having any luck yet. I've got two December-long Medieval & Gorean -themed hunts for you today! What better and more affordable way to stock on fantasy roleplay gear?

There's both a women's and a men's gift in ViGo's little bell, and they're both breathtaking. That armor is now my favorite armor. Both sets have a lot of pieces to mix and match, and there's a lot more possibilities than I'm showing!

Unfortunately, as I heard about the new items in the board, I also heard that the group now costs 500L to join.
There's a lot of... unhappy talk about that, but the bottom line is, for the price of one fantasy outfit, you can get a few AMAZING outfits every month from the lucky boards along with group gifts!

A couple new outfits have been added to the pot today. Here's all the outfits on the boards now!

The boards are special ones. The item does NOT change when the timer runs out - it only changes letter. So if it's stuck on an item you want, you have an improved chance of winning! The item on the board doesn't change unless someone wins it. Also, the outfits on the board change in alphabetical order. So you can predict when an item you want will be up, and you don't have to sit camping if it's not!

The board prizes change either when the group gift for the month is put out, or whenever there's a new item update. I haven't figured it out exactly yet. But when an item or two is added, a couple older ones are bumped (usually), so don't wait too long if you want 'em!
